Maybe, I am God!

While I am awake
Do I pluck away flowers this beautiful
Do I shape the garden of life
I am awake so maybe I should

While they wither away
Do I dig a grave for its death
Do I keep them as trophies to my memories
I am alive, So maybe I do what I see fit

While the creature of life starve
Do I put them out of its misery
Do I fill the people hungry
I am hungry, maybe it’s time when I feel

While the child waits for its mother’s milk
Do I decide my children deserve it more
Do I bathe in it to moist my skin
I raised it, maybe I decide who it’s for

While it swims in freedom across the ocean
Do I capture it in a glass box
Do I treat my friends with a delicacy
It’s abundant, maybe God will make more

While the earth nourishes every living thing
Do I dig holes to quench my greed
Do I build Gray statues of my success
It was built for us, maybe all is for me

While everything becomes extinct
I will find planets to explore
This universe built for my sole existence
Maybe it’s true, I am God
